Sgt. Chris Broems along with several investigators working in conjunction with a West Hartford detective was able to locate Robert Boulay, 36, of New Britain, at the Liberation House, a drug rehabilitation clinic on Main Street, said Capt. Richard Conklin.
The work paid off as detectives spotted Boulay around 10 a.m. Wednesday coming out of the facility, Conklin said.
Boulay is accused of robbing the Simsbury Bank on Farmington Avenue in West Hartford on March 1, 2017, Conklin said.
Investigators Jerry Junes, Ed Davis, and Rafael Barquero took part in the stakeout, Conklin added.
"Our guys did a great job of tracking him down with the help of the West Hartford detective, Andrew Wamester" he added.
Wamester obtained the warrant for Boulay’s arrest, Conklin said.
Boulay was transferred to West Hartford and charged with robbery and larceny. He is being held on a $200,000 bond.
